Bra Saves Woman’s Life After Brooklyn Park Shooting.

A 21-year-old woman claims her bra strap saved her life during a shootout in Brooklyn.

Daniesa Murdaugh, along with 12 other people, was victim of a gun shooting at the Brownsville’s annual Old Timers Event in Brooklyn, New York. According to Murdaugh, her bra strap stopped a bullet from piercing her spine. In other words: If it wasn’t for her bra, she might be paralyzed or otherwise severely injured. “My bra strap — thank God it was thick enough to save it, because if it wasn’t there it would’ve went deeper,” she stated shortly after the attack.

Pictures show the slug broke the skin beside Murdaugh’s left shoulder blade, but the bullet didn’t go in because of her grey bra strap. Luckily, Murdaugh was not insured severely. She was treated in a local hospital and released the following day. “I believe God covered my baby,” Murdaugh’s mother said. “When EMS  had cut her bra strap off, the bullet was just sitting on her bra strap.”

Daniesa Murdaugh’s story is not the only one where a bra plays an important role in crime. A few years earlier, two women from Germany were attacked from behind after walking home from a party through a local park. The women effectively defended themselves. They tied their bras together and handcuffed the man until the police arrived and took the man in custody.
